A very rare aspron trachy of Michael VIII

Michael VIII Palaeologus, 1261-1282. Aspron Trachy (Bronze, 29 mm, 3.40 g, 6 h), Thessalonica. Γ/A ΔΗ[...] St. Demetrius standing facing in military attire, nimbate and beardless, holding spear in his right hand and placing his left on shield set on the ground. Rev. Michael VIII standing facing, winged, holding large patriarchal cross in his right hand and akakia in his left; in field to left, eight-pointed star. DOC, Class XVIII, pl. 11, 182 f. SB 2314. Very rare. Light doubling and with an edge crack, otherwise, very fine.
